Cold email gets a really bad rap – but it’s exceptionally easy – can be a lot of fun – and once you immunize yourself from the avalanche of rejection we all ought to expect – it’s the absolute easiest way to build your brand, business and bank account on a bootstrap budget.
The 2 key elements (in my own experience, having built tons of tiny niche communities using cold email outreach) is specificity (be as specific as you can without being creepy 🙂 and flattery – everyone loves to hear nice things about themselves – and pretty much all business owners – especially “real life” businesses, are suckers, like the rest of us, to flattery and compliments.
