A quick 2024 update to a strategy we were using with WordPress based directories a few years ago – that’s now infinitely easier (in my view) building similar style sites on Framer. Ideal for publishing tiny sites with curated content, recommending products, products, content and courses as a partner or affiliate, local communities, marketplaces and more.
A great way of building relationships with your niche neighbors and professional peers as well – this very site (Framerlove.com) is a variation this exact theme – while not a traditional directory, it’s really, at bottom, a curated collection of resources, templates, tools, products and recommendations for folks who love Framer.
We’re building a few more of these sorts of communities right now – local marketplaces (see SJlist.com) – and a few super exciting marketplace style communities using the Gumroad collaborators feature -and our favorite Framer Ecommerce/storefront templates, too.
